England

Norwich

My time in Norwich has been very good. I am staying with a family here: Paul & Karen and their three kids Ailsa, Robbert and Esme. It’s nice to be in a family environment again, and it’s also good because they help me out with various things, like how to get to a specific place and explanations of how things work around here. I feel very blessed being here with them. It’s nice also because I’ve been going with them to a nice church called Meadow Way Chapel.

I got to see snow again, went on some field trips to see the East-Anglian wildlife, had the famous fish and chips, Mars bars, Worcestershire sauce, Haggis, you name it! I also bought myself a bike which I use to go to the university every day (getting my exercise as well =).

UEA
The studies at the Univ. of East-Anglia have been very intense but proportionately interesting. The UEA is one of the top universities in the U.K. and has been a good challenge for me. The Environmental Department is very well developed in areas such as climate change, social development and green economy, areas I knew very little about. I also have realized I have a lot to improve in my English, and of course my British accent is not the greatest... I’m glad I’ll be returning here for my last year of the master course, I think it was a good choice.
A few more pictures of my time in Norwich can be seen HERE.

Field trips to see seals and the Broads area
In April 7th I’ll be heading to Kiel, Germany, to do another 3 months of the course there.
